Surviving her are her husband and father, and five brothers: R. N. Ellis, Jr., of Jacksonvile [sic]; Clarence H. Ellis, Havana, Cuba, and Capt. Wright A. Ellis, U. S. A., stationed at Washington, D. C; and a niece, Mrs. A. J. Ives, Jr.
     "As a director of Keystone Camp for Girls, Brevard, N. C., Mrs. McCuen had countless friends amont the young people of the South, who will be grieved to hear of her death.
     "The funeral will take place this afternoon at 4 o’clock at the residence of her father in Springfield. The Rev. V. W. Shields, rector emeritus of St. John’s Episcopal church will conduct the services. The pallbearers will be J. C. Darby, H. C. Hare, Frank Holt, J. G. Robertson, C. Buckman and William Joy. The interment will be in West Evergreen cemetery. Moulton and Kyle have charge of arrangements."³
